Munich based photographer Isabel Hoestermann visits lake Ammersee in Bavaria for this story for The Forest, featuring model Vanessa / Munich Models, styled by Camila Neuhaus. Tanja Fritzler was responsible for hair and makeup, while Carolin Hoestermann assisted Isabel.
In the artist’s words:
“I wanted to shoot at a spot where there are as fewer people and boats as possible, to really have the purest nature around us.
I made the pillars and the flower bouquets myself and got a little help from my sister with the flowers. The day was so peaceful and beautiful as everyone just enjoyed the warm sun and watched beautiful Vanessa dancing in the water. Yes, Vanessa was really dancing for us. It was such a joy to watch her doing all those graceful gestures with her hands and being so strong but yet so soft in her movements. We could have watched it for hours.
We were also laughing a lot as the team was made of so many lovely and encouraging people, everyone was totally into this project and really open to letting creativity do what it wants to do.”
