Munich based photographer Kristin Hesse teams with stylist Jana Wuerfel for this story for The Forest, featuring Kristin’s daughter, Emmi Rose. Post-production by Matthias Gabriel.
In Kristin’s words:
During lockdown, I sometimes observed my daughter playing dress-up with my clothes. I wanted to capture these playful and innocent moments. So for the shooting, I chose the Isar river, where my daughter likes to play and where she’s spent a lot of time during her childhood, going for walks and swimming. Most of the pictures were shot on 120mm film, Jana Würfel helped me with the styling.
